The Climate Change Network for Community-based Initiatives stands in solidarity with the struggle of women against the violence of the patriarchy which we argue is inherently connected to the struggle against climate change which perpetuates and intensifies the disparity in the gendered power structures.

Amidst the rise in the climate of violence, women's capacity for societal change remains a powerful force despite the overwhelming inequalities. In this year's celebration of International Working Women's Day we attach our calls for climate justice in the women's struggle for individual self-determination.
