The Climate Cost of Imperialist Wars

The Climate Change Network for Community-based Initiatives (CCNCI) looked into the destructive effects of US imperialist war aggressions, as well as the US-Israel military operations against Iran, on the worsening climate crisis and the destruction it has left on the countries who have become targets of its interventionist policies.
This research is our way of commemorating Earth Day 2026 which serves as a sordid reminder for us that we live in a period where the biggest polluters of our global environment are the most notorious war criminals that are culprits for the thousands of innocent lives lost in recent events. It has become increasingly self-evident that the struggle for climate justice can not be waged to victory without resisting the destructive influence of imperialist superpowers in our global politics.
