ICYMI: The Climate Change Network for Community-based Initiatives (CCNCI) joined fellow environmentalist organization along Commonwealth Avenue this July 27, 2026 in this year's 'Sona ng Bayan' in order to expose the true state of our climate crisis that is often peddled as one of his administration’s priorities.
In a rushed attempt to save his legacy, the self-proclaimed ‘climate champion’ failed to address the compromises made by his violent climate agenda. In truth, President Marcos Jr. simply exploits the worsening climate crisis as a platform to present false for-profit solutions that do nothing for climate resilience.
Cases of development aggression, human rights violations, and mass displacement of indigenous communities has revealed the true nature of these flowery promises of transitioning into clean energy.
